A versatile design project that allows users to “build” their own sofa - choosing from the vast array of combinations available - and to elevate any atmosphere with its powerful personality. The open base brings to the fore the unusual beauty of its sleek silhouette, streamlined shape and soothing horizontal lines.
The name Opus pays tribute not only to Ancient-Roman architecture but also to the modular nature of a project. The table top at the side provides extra space for objects and reading material.
Manzoni & Tapinassi
The fascinating encounter between the extensive experience of Professor Roberto Tapinassi and the expressive originality of architect Maurizio Manzoni began in 2001. From the start, the two designers found common ground in their decision to develop ideas around contemporary living and their desire to present innovative solutions that aim to build on the Italian philosophy of forward-looking, research-based design.
