Andrea Lucatello founded his studio in 1996. From an early age he began to experiment with new forms through the use of heterogeneous materials skilfully combined with each other.
An expression of this is the combination of Murano glass with precious metals, used for the creation of original lamps. The composite materials originally used in the restoration of valuable vintage boats, the inspiration for the realization of tables and chairs design, represent a further declination of the creative driving force offered by the multiform surrounding reality. The development of an idea starts from a deep knowledge of materials and a structured understanding of the production process, fundamental elements to create original and functional design objects, inspired by the shapes and colors of nature. The projects he elaborates are avant-garde and are characterized by the development of elegant shapes, enriched by a wise attention to detail and enhanced by the skilful and harmonious use of different materials. The design is subject to a continuous evolution, suggested by an intuitive approach.
