Cobogo House is a striking residential villa that reinterprets traditional architectural elements through a contemporary lens. Designed by Babnimnim Design Studio, the project pays homage to the cobogó tile—a perforated architectural element rooted in Brazilian and Arab heritage. These tiles, inspired by Islamic mashrabiya screens, are used throughout the façade to create a dynamic interplay of light, shadow and privacy.

The villa spans three split-level floors on a 400 sqm plot, with a bold 7-meter-high façade that replaces the conventional fence, offering both openness and seclusion. The patterned cobogó wall acts as a visual and spatial transition between exterior and interior, while earthy tones and pixelated motifs reflect a fusion of Arabic and Mexican influences.
