A bed like a sculpture
Matera, the city of Sassi, enchants with its spectacular rocky landscape unique in the world. This unusual construction technique is defined as architecture in negative, that is about excavating and removing matter - as in the sculpture - instead of raise buildings. This is also the inspirational concept of the Matera bed. The result is a design that is both primordial and very modern. A bed with a timeless style - a minimalist headboard, with clean lines, and an elegant open base that enhances the practicality and functionality.
