A name, a story
The Giunca bed is inspired by elements of Eastern culture. Giunca (or “Junk”) is in fact the name of the ancient, typical Far Eastern boats characterised by their structure made from junk, whence the name, and their long, tapered shape.
Like "wind-filled sails"
The bed is characterized by a horizontal base accentuated further in as if to recall the hub of boats, while the bulging vertical headboard portrays a sense of “wind-filled sails”. The delicate feet, in contrast with the overlying structure, make everything appear to be almost “floating”.

Natuzzi has chosen to bring its idea of harmony also to the world of interiors, playing between contemporary aesthetics and functionality. Imagining new shapes and colours, fixing them on paper with a sketch, and then transforming them into something concrete: all of this is the Natuzzi Design Center.
