Ema

designed in Italy with Patrick Norguet

The idea of relaxation

Ema bed, features archetypal forms and visual comfort, meeting the requirements of contemporary living. Ema combines a linear design with aesthetic details that emphasise the idea of relaxation: the headboard is padded and embellished with stitching – which returns in the bed frame – that underlines its softness.

Perfectly proportioned, it is available in four dimensions to cater for spaces of different sizes, it is also upholstered on all sides - also at the back - it can also be positioned in the centre of the room. The metal bridge foot, in the same finish as the headboard frame, is contemporary in style and extremely modern in terms of design.

Patrick Norguet

Born in Tours, Patrick Norguet built himself his own world beyond the less-traveled path of design. For Patrick Norguet, design is first and foremost about happy encounters. He owes his first success to Italy and Giulio Cappellini who, in 1999, spotted his Rainbow Chair which is now part of MoMA’s collections. He opened his studio in Paris in 2000 and, since then, he has been designing for major producers and famous brands. Today, Patrick Norguet is an essential figure on the international design.
