Puglia Lovers

Discover

Puglia Lovers is an experiential project born under the aegis of the Puglia Region and Natuzzi. An immersive story, capable of revealing the colors, textures and flavors of the territory in an unprecedented way.

The apulian artistand designer Agostino Iacurci has translated this story into the Mediterranean Scrub installation, inspired by the rich plant universe of Puglia. His aim is also to give voice through art - a universal language - to the drama that today affects the centuries-old olive trees of Puglia. They are dying because of a bacterium, Xylella, and with each olive tree a bit of this land and its memoryalso dies.

Save the Olives is the organization that seeks solutions to fight this scourge, this “scrub”, and Puglia Lovers support it.

A Journey Between Memory and Ecological Transformation

In Mediterranean Scrub, Agostino Iacurci transforms the Natuzzi space in Miami into visual poetry, a monumental installation that weaves together memory, identity, and landscape. The external façade welcomes visitors with a stylized olive branch, like a portal leading to an immersive journey into the heart of the Mediterranean.

The collaboration with Save the Olives further roots the project in the present, transforming it into an act of connection between art and commitment. The installation inscribes itself in Iacurci’s artistic journey, enriching his Traveling Landscape series with a note of environmental urgency that amplifies the power of his visual language.
