Redefine the concept of conviviality and versatility
After the award-winning Mirai sofa, Andrea Steidl dedicates his new collaboration with us to conviviality, imagining a welcoming space that harmoniously blends fluid sociality and warm family comfort. Amama, a palindrome name for a “total living” project starring a double-sided island sofa for the centre of the living room - the pulsating heart of any contemporary home.
Amama is designed with thin, slightly firmer seat cushions resting on a softer base to best enjoy the rich comfort of its high-quality padding and generous seating. Its great compositional freedom - with each module that can be also used alone - is exalted by an integrated complement system.

Andrea Steidl
Andrea Steidl graduated in Industrial Design at the Polytechnic of Milan with a thesis on “Gratuity” which he achieved in 2004. Moving to Milan he entered Patricia Urquiola's studio where he assumed the role of head of design. In 2016 he designed his first personal project and subsequently co-founded \ar-o\ studio with Raquel Pacchini with whom he deals with product design, communication, strategic consultancy and art direction projects.
